KENNEDY + JUSTIN
Some wedding days go exactly as planned.
And then there are wedding days like Kennedy and Justin’s — full of personality, nonstop energy, and the kind of joy that doesn’t pause just because it rains.
On October 18, 2025, Kennedy and Justin were married in Salem, Missouri at The Factory on Jackson. With rain pouring down all day long, their ceremony was moved indoors — but the energy never skipped a beat. If anything, it made the day even better.
Kennedy and Justin were the definition of easygoing. From start to finish, their day felt relaxed, fun, and completely authentic to them. Their style blended country roots with an elevated, modern edge — effortlessly editorial without ever feeling forced.
Even with weather throwing curveballs, there was zero stress and a whole lot of laughter. These are the kinds of weddings I love most as a Missouri wedding photographer — where the focus stays on the experience, not perfection.
Before the ceremony, Kennedy and Justin shared a private first look, tucked away from the chaos of the day. It was sentimental, emotional, and incredibly intimate — a moment that felt like it was just for them.
Later in the reception, Kennedy surprised her mom with a dance that instantly became one of the most meaningful moments of the entire day. It was heartfelt, joyful, and full of personality — the kind of memory that sticks with everyone in the room long after the music stops.
Because of the rain, sunset portraits weren’t possible on the wedding day. But for my couples, that doesn’t mean missing out on those iconic images.
When weather gets in the way, I offer an optional post-wedding bridal portrait session after the honeymoon — a chance to reconnect, dress up again, and create the images that truly last a lifetime.
These are the photos couples hang in their homes.
The ones they frame, gift, and pass down.
The images their kids and grandkids will admire one day.
Kennedy and Justin chose to do this session at a location that held deep meaning to them both. This time, the sun was shining bright — and the calm, joyful connection between them made every image feel intentional, timeless, and full of life. It was a beautiful reminder that sometimes the best moments happen after the wedding day.
What stood out most about Kennedy and Justin’s day wasn’t just the style or the party — it was how natural everything felt. Even with rain pouring nonstop, the energy stayed light, fun, and full of trust.
From the moment we met, working with them felt effortless — like photographing friends I’d known forever. Those are the weddings that stay with you, and the reason I love what I do.
Kennedy and Justin, thank you for trusting me as your wedding photographer and for embracing every moment of your day exactly as it came. Rain and all — it was unforgettable.
